Job Description

As Director of Sales & Marketing, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Director of Sales & Marketing, I will take full ownership of the efficient operation of the Sales & Marketing department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and services in line with brand standards. My primary objective is to position the hotel correctly and attract the right business at optimal pricing to achieve the hotel’s targeted occupancy, average rate, and revenue goals.

Joining the hotel during its pre-opening phase, my initial focus will be on preparing all aspects of Sales & Marketing for a successful launch. Following the opening, my role will transition to driving revenue growth and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for the continued success of the hotel.

  • Establish and Lead the Sales & Marketing Department:
    Set up and oversee the Sales & Marketing function, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all related activities.
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Marketing Plans:
    Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies encompassing hotel positioning, content creation, digital marketing, communications, pricing, distribution, segment-specific sales initiatives, and budgeting. Provide strong leadership to the Sales & Marketing team, and collaborate closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, Wellness, and Revenue & Distribution teams to maximize overall hotel revenue.
  • Drive Revenue Growth and Brand Profile:
    Maintain a strong focus on maximizing revenue and elevating the profile of Six Senses Tel Aviv in the marketplace.
  • Continuously Optimize Marketing Initiatives:
    Regularly evaluate and refine marketing strategies and tactics to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.
  • Achieve Financial Targets:
    Deliver on pre-established financial objectives, including revenue generation, profitability, and return on invested capital (ROIC).
  • Ensure Compliance and Operational Excellence:
    Operate the property in strict accordance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements. Oversee documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, safety and security protocols, and uphold product and service standards. Implement, review, and maintain host management practices and budgetary controls to ensure the hotel’s successful operation.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Director of Sales & Marketing, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including:

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field and five years total experience in hospitality or hotels sales and marketing setting, with team leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. More than five years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew.
  • Right to work in Israel.
