We are looking for a commercially driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth.
Your day-to-day
You will be responsible for:
Developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue and market share.
Leading and mentoring the Sales team, Marketing Coordinator, and Reservations team to achieve business objectives.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, group, leisure, and travel partners.
Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
Working closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise commercial performance.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
Managing sales-related budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve commercial objectives.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in hotel sales. Prior experience as a BDM, BDD, DOS or DOSM is preferred
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering results.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
The ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Flexibility to attend after work functions and travel outside of Queenstown for work.
