Director of Sales & Marketing

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Director of Sales & Marketing to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the overall commercial strategy of the business, driving revenue growth, strengthening brand positioning, and maximizing market performance across all revenue streams. This role requires a commercially driven leader with strong experience in hospitality sales, marketing, revenue optimization, and team management. The selected candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, identify new business opportunities, build key partnerships, and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee multiple commercial functions, including sales, marketing, public relations, reservations, conference and events, and revenue management. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive market position and support long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement sales, marketing, and revenue strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage commercial teams while setting performance goals and monitoring results.

  • Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams to maximize profitability.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer demand to support commercial decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between business goals, brand positioning, and revenue performance.

Key Requirements:


  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role within the hospitality industry.

  • Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading high-performing teams.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems, including Opera PMS and Sales & Catering platforms.

  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.

  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30–40%) and possession of a valid driving licence.
