Super Star Car Wash is looking for a Director of Sales with experience managing multiple retail locations across a geographically dispersed territory. Your primary responsibility is to increase sales and push for increased membership volume at every location. The Director of Sales takes ownership and responsibility for the design and implementation of the company's sales strategy.
Our Director of Sales is responsible for the overall guidance for driving sales and membership growth across our locations. You will lead through influence across the sales organization, sharing proven sales insights and upselling strategies to accelerate team performance and revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated, mature and a well-rounded sales professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:

- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of company objectives.
- Set clear goals and expectations, establish performance metrics, track performance, and provide direct / actionable feedback.
- Coach District Manager on performance to business targets through monthly 1:1 meetings and field ride alongs.
- Motivate sales team by communicating consistently with operational strategy while not compromising the confidentiality of our business goals and objectives.
- Maintain and expand customer and membership base by working side by side with District Managers to coach and develop their retail sales associates.
- Review environmental factors and key business indicators within a region to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement providing sales and professional development coaching to sales and operations management teams to achieve sales goals.
- Drive the implementation of company programs and initiatives by motivating and supporting the sales management teams across the region to develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives.
- Visit all stores within the region, as defined by corporate requirements for hands-on training, upselling opportunities, competitive analysis, and on-site audits.
- Provide feedback and open communication between the stores and the corporate departments (Operations, Purchasing, Human Resources, Marketing, etc.).
- Identify issues, concerns, challenges and opportunities within the region, create action plans to address and follow through to completion.
- Develop the district management team to achieve growth, productivity and profitability goals within their districts as well as deliver Elite 5 guest experiences
- Ensure training for the sales teams, including new hire training, ongoing product knowledge training, and program/account-specific training is consistent with Super Star expectations and follows regarding implementation.
- Take an active role in the identification and placement of Field Sales Trainers to ensure we have the right individuals in these positions.
- Provide feedback to corporate with respect to field developments and needs. including competitive issues, quality, training and sales/customer service issues.
- Be the champion of the Super Star brand, making sure communication messages and sales scripting is clear on strategy and consistent throughout the region.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a service-based sales industry working with commission-based sales teams is required; 5+ years' experience as a regional/district sales manager, preferably in a multi-unit retail or membership-based industry (prior car wash experience highly desired).
- Proven track record of building high-performing teams that consistently deliver and exceed revenue goals and lead in providing a high-level customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail with background in management, sales, training, relationship development and/or excellent customer experience.
- Experience analyzing financial reports, in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions to achieve buy-in and gain support for sales efforts.
- A proactive approach to learning what our customers want and need and then helping us deliver products that fulfill those needs.
- Experience managing a team and managing a budget.
- Possesses strong organizational skills to execute and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong computer skills and advanced user of MS Office 365, Excel and experience working. within an ERP/CRM system to track sales and build reports.
- Leadership skills and the ability to inspire other staff.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Must pass pre-employment background screen.
- Valid driver's license/clean driving record.
- Able to consistently travel frequent out of state travel.
