Job Description

​​​​​​A prestigious ultra-luxury resort in the Maldives seeks a talented Director of Sales to join its executive team. The property caters to high-net-worth individuals and their families, offering unparalleled personalized service, exclusivity, and island luxury.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to enhance brand visibility and achieve revenue targets.
2. Strengthen the resort’s position in key source markets, including Europe and the Middle East.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, targeting ultra-luxury travelers.
4. Conduct quarterly travel for sales calls and maintain a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Lead the sales team with innovative, hands-on management, ensuring high standards are met.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of prior Director of Sales experience required.
2. 3–5 years in resort sales, within ultra-luxury boutique resorts, charging in excess of $2500 pppn
3. Proven success in contracting with key European and Middle Eastern markets.

Skills:

1. Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

3. Detail-oriented, creative, and able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
