The Director of Safety and Risk will develop, coordinate, and implement occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations and regulations of Cooperative Farmers Elevator in accordance with rules, policies, goals, and objectives established by the COO, CEO, and the Board of Directors.

Position Responsibilities
The Director of Safety and Risk is responsible for the overall management of safety and compliance in CFE including the training of employees, portray the safety culture within the company to all employees working for CFE and work with insurance carriers to manage and reduce claims.
Supervision
Supervision involves establishing and communicating goals and results to location managers and employees, actively supporting employee growth, upholding cooperative policies, and all regulations, see that all training is up to date and monthly meetings are held and attended.
