The Director of Safety and Loss Prevention is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing Safety and Loss Prevention programs while creating process improvements to minimize and prevent loss of and protect company assets. Supervise the Health and Safety programs for OSHA compliance and safety inspections. Provides accurate and timely safety operations reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Analyzes trends and makes operational decisions because of data. Develops and implements the Security departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the organization's administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives. Ensures all standard operating procedures are up to date and aligned with the core objectives of Palmetto Goodwill. Assist the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in analyzing processes to increase efficiencies and reduce expenses.

Qualifications
Must possess the ability to pass a criminal background check. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and
maintain liability insurance acceptable to Goodwill's insurance carrier. Current knowledge of OSHA and other
related state and federal regulations related to workplace safety. Computer and Analytical ability to prepare
and analyze spreadsheets/schedules and reports regarding long-term planning, current activity, and
other data related to work duties. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication
skills.
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in related field/or a minimum 10-year equivalent work
experience as a Safety and/or Loss Prevention Manager. Experience necessary in providing group/individual
training and conducting investigations and training
