About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is seeking a Director of Rooms to lead the Rooms Division and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing all front-facing and operational departments within Rooms, ensuring service excellence, employee engagement, and strong financial performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and oversee Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge, Communications, Housekeeping, Spa/Health Club, Security, Bell, and Driveway operations
  • Supervise and develop Department Heads, including hiring, training, performance management, and coaching
  • Ensure consistent execution of Four Seasons service standards and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and operational effectiveness across all Rooms Division functions
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality, cleanliness, and service standards
  • Drive revenue and profitability by managing labor costs, expenses, and collaborating with Sales and Reservations to optimize occupancy and rate
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, residents, and key stakeholders to deliver personalized experiences
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives for the division
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, employee engagement, and career development
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure the safety, security, and well-being of guests and employees

What You Bring

  • 5–7 years of progressive Rooms Division or hotel operations leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or mixed-use residential hotel environments preferred

Schedule & Hours

  • Full-time position
  • Requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts based on business needs
