Wellness
I will fully embrace, implement and safeguard the overall Wellness philosophy, concepts and programs such as Sleep with Six Senses, Eat with Six Senses, Grow with Six Senses, Reconnection & Rituals and Mission Wellness. All aspects of these wellness and initiatives will be adopted and implemented throughout the operation and its strategic planning and development.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will ensure all directives on environmental protection and preservation, re-usage and minimum wastage, purchasing and packaging such as the abolition of single-use plastic, social responsibility and all other practices documented in the Sustainability Guidelines are followed in resorts and spas to maintain a harmonious and sensitive approach to our environment and cultural surroundings. I will follow the Sustainability Guidelines as they relate to my department and set goals to improve my department’s performance.

Operational Ownership
I will lead and maintain revenue management and distribution functions for my property.
I am responsible for driving and maintaining a close and effective alignment of distribution and commercial activities while ensuring revenue management is also aligned with distribution strategies.
I am responsible for maximizing overall room revenues through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on demand and availability with the objective to further increase market share.
I will proactively seek opportunities to further generate and drive business. Drive business and business initiatives to achieve and exceed room revenue targets and to achieve the optimal business mix to strengthen positioning in the competitive set.
My areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
Ensure property revenue management and distribution strategy correlates with an overall company direction.
Drive the property to achieve full potential revenue via revenue management strategy and distribution channel management by maximizing presence across all distribution channels and drive revenues from each channel at all times.
Drive most profitable direct rates to improve profitability and overall brand awareness.
Ensures all rates are loaded and displayed correctly by audit after any loading/updates been done.
Ensure all distribution channels are optimized with a correct price positioning. Monitor in statistical format, pick-up patterns, lead times and general business trends.
Striving for rate parity, correct price positioning with accurate and always updated online exposure across all selling channels.
Continuously review and improve presence and visibility across all selling channels.
Identify, recommend, and drive initiatives to increase production and contribution from all distribution channels including Brand Website, OTA, Online Partners and GDS.
Ensures hotel rates, packages and other revenue management and distribution related content complies with Six Senses guidelines.
Assess, oversee, manage, and implement all systems, tools and programs in the related field.
Rate and content loading on related distribution channels.
Identify appropriate campaigns from 3rd party sites including OTA for hotels to participate in.
Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers and vendors related products and programs and manage effective relationships.
Review competitive sets on a regular basis and identify selling strategies and market trends of the competitive set and communicates the same.
Take a leading role in the annual preparation of the rooms revenue budget as well as the annual rate preparation.
Develop overall pricing strategy along with the DOSM to ensure all target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the respective property business requirements and growth
Design & create required packages & promotions to meet the direct business demands per respective property requirements.
Prepare weekly forecast report, conduct and lead weekly forecast meetings
To make appropriate suggestions to Senior Management for the general improvements of the property’s growth and benefit.
Undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility as required by Groups Director of Revenue and Distribution and General Manager to meet the business needs.
Support sales and marketing and reservations personnel to ensure business plans, programs, systems, and functions are aligned to drive revenue and optimum department productivity.
Administration
All reporting requirements for the role will be completed accurately, on time and maintained for referenceProvide analysis, solutions and general operational expertise for the success of the properties. Corrective action will be taken immediately when issues are identified.

Skills and Experience
To execute the position of Director of Revenue, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality with proven track record within the industryI possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management or Business Administration and 5 years or more experience in a similar luxury hotel role plus multi-departmental experience.
I am a matured team player with strong leadership and communication skills, verbal and written. Result oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills and able to act proactively and strategically; prioritize and work under pressure; flexible, self-organized and detail orientated with the ability to handle and solve problems.Training, guiding and presentations skills; well organized and capable of working quickly and handling many projects and job functions at once. Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills. Proven ability to manage outside agencies in order to fulfill project objectives
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office, plus I am also familiar with various hotel systems includingextensive Opera Property Management System (PMS) knowledge, extensive understanding of CRS’s and related distribution platforms such as SiteMinder and OTA Insight modules.
I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules, regulations, brand and operating standards, systems, facilities and how the professional function supports the overall needs of the business.
Remarks
Specific days and timing are based on the business needs, seasonality and local labor laws. The role will also require standing and walking for extended periods of time. I also recognize that the role is dynamic and may change to meet operational requirements. I understand there will be a requirement to travel for work-related meetings and events.
