Title: Director of Retail

Location: San Fransisco, California

Compensation: 120-150/k

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Retail to lead and elevate its store operations. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional in-store experiences that reflect the craftsmanship, quality, and storytelling behind the brand. The Director of Retail will oversee multi-unit retail and café operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive financial performance while preserving the warmth, hospitality, and authenticity that define the customer experience. The Director of Retail is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all retail and café locations. This individual will champion operational excellence, elevate hospitality standards, and build scalable systems to support continued growth. The ideal candidate brings a blend of luxury retail sensibility, hospitality expertise, financial acumen, and strong people leadership.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a management role in premium retail outlets and/or cafes
• Experience managing, coaching, motivating, and strengthening Managers, Leads, and Associates as retail operators and business owners
• Knowledge of basic accounting and can work seamlessly with the finance team to create revenue forecasts and labor plans that adjust to the seasonal nature of our business.
• Proficiency in Excel

Hours of Operation:

Our clients' stores are open 7 days per week and on most holidays, so some nonstandard working hours will be required, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
