Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer (UK market), you will play a key role in protecting that purpose. You’ll shape how we respond to disruption, manage risk, and make sure essential services stay running for millions of customers. This is a senior leadership role where your work will have a real impact on how we deliver safe, reliable healthcare.

You’ll lead our approach to operational and technology resilience across Bupa’s UK business. That means setting a clear direction, building strong partnerships, and creating an environment where resilience is part of everyday thinking. You’ll also work closely with senior leaders and regulators, helping us stay ahead in a complex and changing world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for operational and technology resilience across Bupa UK

  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of resilience frameworks, policies and standards

  • Work closely with senior leaders to align resilience with business goals and risk appetite

  • Build strong relationships across teams

  • Provide clear insight and reporting to executive and board-level stakeholders

  • Oversee how resilience risks are identified, measured and managed

  • Support regulatory requirements and ensure we meet industry expectations

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, supporting growth and development

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading operational and technology resilience in a large, regulated environment

  • Strong understanding of risk management and resilience frameworks

  • Experience working with financial services regulation and industry standards

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong relationships

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence working in a complex, matrix environment

  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery

  • A clear, practical way of explaining complex ideas
