About Child Saving Institute (CSI)
Our story began in Omaha in 1892. In response to epidemics, poverty, and the challenges of pioneer life, many children were left without caregivers. CSI met that need in a revolutionary way—by putting the well‑being of children first and becoming a voice for the voiceless.
Today, CSI continues to champion children and families by providing the mental, emotional, and physical spaces they need to feel empowered and thrive.
