Director of Recruitment | $120k–$180k/Year + Commission

About the Role

A growing healthcare company is looking for a high-energy Director of Recruitment to own hiring across office and field roles, nationwide. Reporting directly to leadership, you'll build a high-energy recruitment engine internally while also partnering with outside agencies — leading a team of five recruiters in a fast-paced, dynamic space where you set the strategy, systems, and relationships that bring the best talent in the door. This is a role with real growth potential for someone who thrives on moving fast and getting people hired.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate a team of five recruiters across office and field hiring
• Build a high-energy internal recruitment agency from the ground up
• Provide guidance and support to recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
• Inspire high performance in a fast-moving, high-volume environment

Strategy & Process

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent nationwide
• Optimize recruitment systems and processes to keep hiring efficient and scalable
• Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and engage qualified candidates
• Partner with outside agencies to extend hiring reach and fill critical roles
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition

Stakeholder & Candidate Relations

• Partner with department managers and company leadership to understand and support their hiring needs
• Facilitate communication across departments to place the right person in the right role
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, employees, and external partners
• Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy and genuine enthusiasm for attracting and engaging talent
• Sharp ability to read people, assess skills, and make effective hiring decisions
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
