• Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required
• Education and License Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management or related field.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

• Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• Prior experience as an Assistant Director or Director of Healthcare Quality preferred.
• Familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and oversight, including its concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of hospital clinical operations, as relate to patient safety and quality, as well as familiarity with infection control, risk management, and regulatory affairs.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills to deal effectively with all levels of hospital staff, the public, and agencies and entities involved in this area.

• Job Responsibilities:
• Ensuring quality healthcare is being administered to all patients.
• Oversees all aspects of the quality program, including quality measurement, external reporting, quality improvement, and high reliability.
• Developing, monitoring, and evaluating quality control processes.
• Responsible for managing risk, ensuring compliance, controlling infection, and improving overall performance.
• Representing quality and patient safety to the organization and other external entities.
• Developing and Implementing programs and initiatives to promote quality.
• Recognizing and addressing issues about the quality of products and/or services.
• Collecting and analyzing data that could impact the quality of products and services.
• Plays a pivotal role is the organization’s strategic planning, including but not limited to, analyzing the organizations current position, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing actionable strategies to achieve organizational goals.
