CEL Critical Power is a global provider of mission-critical power solutions operating at the centre of the AI, hyperscale data centre and critical infrastructure ecosystem. Demand for CEL’s products is strong and accelerating. The challenge is not sales demand, it is executing growth at pace without compromising delivery certainty, production discipline or customer trust. Operating from its Irish base, CEL continues to scale its production capability in parallel with its US expansion, with similar ambitions to significantly increase output over the coming years. Ireland remains central to CEL’s global operating model and will continue to play a critical role in delivering high-quality, engineered products at scale.

CEL Critical Power's Modular business, spanning Custom / Standard PowerPod and PowerSkid, is a critical and fast-scaling part of the company's growth across EMEA. The Director of Production, Modular EMEA is accountable for leading and scaling CEL's modular production capability across the region, ensuring output, quality, and delivery performance can support sustained growth without operational disruption. This means building a production operation that is consistent, repeatable, and disciplined, with a strong operational backbone and a "One-CEL" model aligned with global operations.

This is not a maintenance role. It's a scale and optimisation leadership position requiring strong production line expertise, ideally with modular or off-site build experience, and hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scale & Output Delivery

• Own end-to-end production execution for modular builds (PowerPod, PowerSkid) across EMEA
• Deliver consistent, high-quality output aligned to demand, with predictable and controlled throughput
• Optimise assembly/build-line configuration, flow, and standardisation to support scalable growth

Production Discipline & Governance

• Implement structured production management systems, KPIs, reporting, and escalation processes
• Own capacity planning, line optimisation, and NPI execution into modular production
• Maintain audit-ready operations and embed quality and EHS standards into all production activities

Workforce Leadership

• Lead and develop production teams across all levels, including Line Managers, Quality, EHS, Maintenance/Engineering, and Production Planning
• Build workforce capability, leadership depth, and succession planning
• Drive a high-performance, disciplined production culture through visible, hands-on leadership

Cross-Functional & Partner Alignment

• Partner with Supply Chain to ensure material and module readiness
• Collaborate with Engineering on DFM and NPI for modular products
• Work closely with the Sales Manager, Modular EMEA and Commercial teams to align production output and lead times with sales and tendering commitments
• Coordinate with fabrication and module-build partners on production scheduling, quality, and delivery performance

Continuous Improvement

• Drive Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) across modular production
• Reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support automation and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Essential

• 10+ years' experience in production/industrial environments, including 5+ years in senior production leadership roles
• Experience leading assembly-line or repeatable production environments in multi-shift settings
• Background in engineered, industrial, or manufacturing-led sectors (e.g. automotive, aerospace, electrical/power systems)
• Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience operating in multi-site or international environments across EMEA
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Level 8+ equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/business discipline is preferred.

Desirable

• Direct experience in modular, off-site, or containerised/skid-based manufacturing
• Experience managing or closely partnering with external fabrication/build partners
• Experience in businesses scaling production at pace
