The Team

The Credit Analytics Products team develops and manages a suite of market-leading solutions, including Credit Analytics and RiskGauge desktops, RiskGauge Reports, Credit Memo, ProSpread, and Universal Coverage. These products are delivered across desktop, Excel, enterprise platforms, APIs, data feeds, cloud, third-party platforms, and AI channels. Market participants rely on these solutions to assess, manage, monetize, and monitor credit risk across multiple workflows.

Responsibilities and Impact

This role defines and executes product and data strategy to drive Credit Analytics business growth within S&P Global Ratings. The Director of Product Management will own the full product lifecycle, shape AI-ready initiatives, and drive decisions across commercial, technology, quantitative modeling, and data teams to deliver measurable market value.

  • Own and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Credit Analytics and RiskGauge desktops, RiskGauge Reports, Credit Memo, ProSpread, and Universal Coverage, including AI-driven initiatives on the Pro platform.
  • Develop and deliver an AI-ready model and data strategy to support a Risk Intelligence Layer, ensuring Credit Analytics solutions produce transparent, consistent, and accurate outputs for S&P Global and third-party AI tools.
  • Lead PI Planning and product development within the SAFe framework, partnering with Technology, Quantitative Modeling, Product Owners, and scrum teams to define features, resolve delivery risks, and meet roadmap commitments.
  • Maintain structured feedback loops with commercial, go-to-market, technology, and client-facing teams to prioritize product capabilities and ensure roadmap decisions reflect market needs.
  • Manage Product Operations, including Level 2 Models and Data support and Level 3 Product support across the full Credit Analytics suite.
  • Lead and develop Product Owners and Product Operations colleagues by setting clear goals, driving accountability, and actively supporting career growth.

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $127,500 to $192,000 USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10+ years of relevant experience in technology, data, or analytics, including 7+ years in product management, business analysis, or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and execution for technology, data, analytics, or workflow-based products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Product Owners, people managers, or cross-functional teams within matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with engineering, quantitative modeling, data, commercial, and go-to-market teams to deliver complex product capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAFe methodology, including direct experience leading PI Planning and managing cross-functional delivery dependencies.

Preferred or Helpful Experience:

  • Experience driving product strategy in a growth- or transformation-focused environment.
  • Experience with complex, data-heavy ecosystems, including models, analytics, enterprise data, APIs, platforms, or AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop talent within a product management organization.
  • Experience in credit risk, financial analytics, or related market workflows.
  • Experience aligning senior stakeholders and multiple teams around strategic priorities, roadmap trade-offs, and delivery outcomes.

Additional Information

  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
  • Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
