
About This Role:
As the Director of Procurement - Global Development & Medical Services, you will play a pivotal role within the Research, Development, and Medical Services Procurement team. This position is integral to driving procurement strategies, managing a substantial ~$600M spend across diverse subcategories such as Clinical Trial CRO Management, Clinical Technologies, and Medical Affairs services.
In this role the focus will be on translating high-level business objectives and priorities into deployable strategies, facilitated through a procurement team. With your business insights, commercial foresight, and procurement expertise you’ll shape category strategies, influence decision-making, and unlock opportunities that extend beyond cost.
This Director will report to the Head of Research, Development & Medical Services.
You are a dynamic leader with proven success in shaping global category strategies in a complex, matrixed, highly regulated environment. Your executive presence & ability to develop effective relationships that influence senior stakeholders and decision making. You thrive in change and ambiguity, adapting quickly while maintaining focus on strategic objectives. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey complex ideas clearly and motivate others. You excel in project management, juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your global leadership inspires trust and operational excellence, driving process and cost improvement initiatives.

The base compensation range for this role is: $175,000.00-$241,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
