Director of Plant Operations at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:
The Director of Plant Operations and Safety Officer is responsible for providing structure and support for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club (BSWTC) Some of the key responsibilities will be:
· Certified Health Safety Professional preferred
Supervises: Plant Operations Team and Environmental Services team at BSWTC; Plant Operations team at BSWLC
Contacts/Interacts with: All staff
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents or governmental regulation.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and policy and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or the MEC/Governing body.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, area, circumference and volume
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with server abstract and concrete variables.
Reasoning ability:

While performing the duties of Director of Plant Operations and Safety Officer, the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel; crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
