What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field) or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, fibre network engineering, or related infrastructure industries

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Great-to-have

  • Specialized certification in OSP design or fibre network engineering
  • Knowledge of power management systems, energy efficiency optimization, and green infrastructure standards
  • Experience with modular data center and edge computing infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Canadian regulatory environment (CRTC, provincial regulations, municipal bylaws)
  • Experience with network design software, Myworld GIS mapping tools, and OSP planning software
  • Background in managing vendor relationships and procurement
  • Experience in the Canadian telecommunications industry
  • PEng certification (Professional Engineer)

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope. # LI-Remote
