
1. Develop and execute a strategic philanthropy plan for the Kansas City market that aligns with affiliate fundraising goals and long-term growth objectives.
2. Manage a portfolio of current and prospective major donors through thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and moves management.
3. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts from individuals, family foundations, private foundations, donor-advised funds, and other philanthropic partners.
4. Develop and grow a corporate philanthropy initiative by identifying values-aligned businesses, cultivating relationships, securing sponsorships, and expanding corporate giving opportunities.
5. In close partnership with the CEO, serve as PPGP's philanthropic ambassador throughout the Kansas City community by building relationships with civic leaders, volunteers, board members, donors, and strategic partners.
6. Partner closely with the Chief of External Affairs and CEO on leadership giving strategies, principal gift cultivation, and top donor relationships.
7. Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage donor portfolios, document activity, maintain accurate constituent records, generate reports, and support data-informed fundraising strategy.
8. Collaborate with the Development Operations Manager and Database Manager to ensure exceptional donor stewardship, gift processing, reporting, and database integrity.
9. Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to develop donor proposals, stewardship reports, campaign materials, and compelling philanthropic communications.
10. Plan and support strategic cultivation for fundraising events that deepen donor relationships and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
11. Represent Planned Parenthood Great Plains with professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to donor-centered service.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and frontline fundraising experience.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible major gift fundraising with a demonstrated record of securing significant philanthropic investments.
• Demonstrated experience using Salesforce CRM for portfolio management, moves management, reporting, and donor strategy.
• Success cultivating and stewarding relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and fundraising technology.
