Reporting to the Managing Director of the Southeast Network Corridor, the Director of
Partnerships and Strategic Growth will serve as a senior member of the Northeastern Miami
Campus team responsible for the strategy and implementation of innovative initiatives and
partnerships that advance the university’s mission in the Miami region and across the Southeast
Corridor. This role carries an initial emphasis on health and the healthcare sector, reflecting
Miami’s position as a dynamic hub for health innovation, life sciences, and a robust bilingual,
internationally connected healthcare workforce. As the campus’s program portfolio diversifies,
this role will expand to cultivate partnerships in other sectors aligned with institutional priorities,
including entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.
The Director of Partnerships and Strategic Growth plays a lead role in driving Southeast
Corridor activities and programs in alignment with both regional market needs and
Northeastern’s strategic goals. This position works closely with Miami Campus leadership, the
Bouvé College of Health Sciences (including the Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs and
Partnerships), and other colleges and university stakeholders as needed. The Director
leverages institutional expertise to build, expand, and nurture strategic partnerships with
industry, philanthropic, governmental, and community stakeholders, while also contributing to
enrollment pipeline development and thought leadership that elevates the Miami Campus’s
regional profile.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Administration, Healthcare
Administration, or a relevant field required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership
management, or healthcare administration.
• Direct healthcare or health sciences experience preferred; familiarity with the South
Florida healthcare landscape is a significant asset.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, reflecting Miami’s market and
community demographics.
• Superior skills in corporate outreach, business development, and relationship
management, with a demonstrated track record of converting prospects into active,
sustained partnerships.
• Mission-driven, with a passion for broadening participation in health sciences, workforce
pipelines, and healthcare innovation.
• Ability to develop and lead strategic initiatives from concept through completion;
excellent management, organizational, and communication skills.
• High degree of self-motivation and self-direction, with a proven track record of
collaborative success in matrixed environments.
• Organizational tact and diplomacy; ability to build trusted relationships with external
partners, health system leaders, community stakeholders, and internal academic
administrators including Deans, Associate Deans, and Program Directors.
• Experience tracking partnership activity and reporting outcomes against defined goals
and metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as an organizational ambassador, representing campus
and Corridor strategic interests with credibility and professionalism.
• Commitment to belonging, equity, and broadening access to health sciences education.
• Flexibility for regional travel and availability for occasional extended-hour events

Community Engagement
Engage with healthcare leaders, providers, and Northeastern
alumni to raise awareness of Northeastern’s and Bouvé’s
mission, centers of expertise in education and workforce
development, and capabilities in scientific and clinical research.
Cultivate relationships with community-focused organizations,
non-profits, and civic institutions to create mutually beneficial
partnerships that advance local health equity and workforce
initiatives. Represent the Miami Campus in regional health and
innovation forums, conferences, and professional networks.
Work with Northeastern college and network representatives to
advance community-based collaborations across the global
university network.
Industry Relationship Growth
Responsibility % of Time: 35%
Develop and manage an active portfolio of health sector
partnerships in consultation with Bouvé College, Miami
Campus leadership, and university stakeholders. Identify,
cultivate, and convert new companies and organizations to
active partnerships with the Miami Campus annually, with
measurable goals tied to enrollment pipeline, experiential
learning placements, and program visibility. Attend and present
at healthcare industry conferences, health and life sciences
events, health innovation summits, and relevant community
forums. Operationalize partner engagement through high-value
events, meetings, and programming aligned with partner
business objectives. Report regularly to Campus leadership on
pipeline status, conversion strategies, and active partnership
performance.
Relationship, Research & Operational Management
Responsibility % of Time: 35%
Maintain a current and comprehensive inventory of all existing
partnerships and relationships. Fully utilize university-wide
platforms (CRM and reporting tools) to track all partnership
engagement and inform future relationship development
strategy. Provide periodic internal and external reports and
updates to key stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing to
increase regional and Bouvé College visibility, promote
academic programs, and enhance institutional reputation in the
South Florida market. Remain current on trends and emerging
needs in healthcare and health sciences to position the Miami
Campus as a leader in addressing industry needs. Work
internally with academic programs, clinical placement offices,
co-op operations, and enrollment teams to identify and expand
student experiential learning opportunities and support
enrollment pipeline goals. Collaborate with the philanthropy
development team to steward corporate and foundation
relationships. Partner with all campus, college, and recruitment
stakeholders to organize and execute thought-leadership
events and partnership programming that drive brand
recognition and enrollment.

This position is based on the Northeastern Miami Campus and reports to the Managing Director
of the Southeast Network Corridor. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with the South
Florida health ecosystem, strong bilingual capabilities, and the entrepreneurial orientation to

$102,480.00 - $148,593.75
