Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a Director to lead and oversee our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) teams across the state. PACT delivers an intensive, mobile, wrap-around array of psychiatric and social support services directly to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, particularly those who experience complex barriers to care or have not succeeded in traditional clinic-based settings. Utilizing an evidence-based, multidisciplinary team approach—incorporating psychiatry, nursing, clinical social work, vocational support, and peer specialists—the PACT service delivers flexible, person-centered care directly in clients' homes and communities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate, and strategically minded clinical leader with a deep commitment to community-based adult mental health. Candidates should hold an advanced clinical license (e.g., LICSW or LMHC) alongside substantial supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient or community-focused behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating the on-going operations of the PACT programs.
  • Assist in the hiring, supervision and disciplinary action of Managers to include weekly supervision and complete staff performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the coordination of service delivery at each program, i.e., case conferences, section 8 housing, SSI, and interface with outside agencies and providers.
  • Carry out all activities and tasks in a manner that ensures the consumer’s safety and Human Rights. Provide supervisory direction that ensures consumers are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with ECHS’ Human Rights policy.
  • Ensure development, implementation and documentation of program specific treatment plans at each program. Monitor treatment plans to ensure quality and timeliness of documentation in accordance with both agency and DMH policy and regulation.
  • Provide clinical expertise to program staff in the development if treatment plans and ensure overall agency philosophy is reflected in service delivery.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision that ensures the provision of a safe living environment for all consumers and implementation of crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Supervision and direction includes but is not limited to: use of deescalating modes of communication/ interaction to ensure consumer’s safety, stability, mental status, and physical health; utilization of both clinical and emergency services for consultation; communicating all pertinent information in a clear and concise manner with particular attention to clinical observations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of physical site and program property by performing monthly inspections and monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a current clinical license or be license eligible for one of the following: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working with adults with mental illnesses
  • Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Requires site visits to all PACT programs located in Lynn, Danvers, Saugus, Tewksbury, and Lowell

Annual Salary

$125,000—$135,000 USD
