$150,000–$200,000 DOE + Profit Sharing
Position Overview
This role exists to build operational structure, accountability, and execution consistency inside a growing marketing agency serving B2C clients across healthcare, therapy, eCommerce, and related industries.
The company is scaling quickly and needs a strong operator who can take ownership of day-to-day execution, improve team performance, and create systems that allow the business to grow efficiently without operational breakdowns.
The Director of Operations will work directly with the founder and own operational execution across departments, including project management, creative delivery, client experience, hiring, and internal systems.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving operational problems, and knows how to turn ideas into structured execution.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Own operational execution across departments and ensure teams operate with clarity and accountability
• Build systems, SOPs, and workflows that improve consistency and scalability
• Create operational visibility across priorities, deadlines, bottlenecks, and deliverables
• Improve communication and execution standards across teams
Team Management
• Lead hiring, onboarding, accountability, and performance management
• Build a high-performance culture with strong ownership expectations
• Address underperformance directly and professionally
• Improve operational consistency across managers and contributors
Client Delivery
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and at a high standard
• Improve client satisfaction through stronger operational follow-through
• Reduce delivery gaps, missed deadlines, and reactive workflows
• Create reliable operational execution across all client accounts
Founder Support & Execution
• Translate strategic direction into operational action
• Drive priorities forward independently
• Reduce founder dependency on daily operational management
• Provide operational reporting and execution visibility
Systems & AI Enablement
• Identify inefficiencies and implement operational improvements
• Introduce AI and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency
• Reduce manual operational burden across teams
• Improve scalability through operational technology and structure
Requirements
• Experience leading operations in a marketing agency, eCommerce company, or client-service environment
• Strong people leadership experience with direct accountability ownership
• Experience building systems, workflows, SOPs, and operational processes
• Proven ability to improve execution and operational efficiency
• Experience managing client delivery or account execution environments
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
• Strong communication, prioritization, and follow-through skills
• eCommerce exposure strongly preferred
• AI workflow optimization experience is a strong plus

• Marketing agency or client-service operations leadership experience
• Hiring, firing, onboarding, and team management ownership
• Systems/process implementation experience
• Client delivery accountability
• eCommerce familiarity
