Director of Operations – Injection Molding

This is the senior operational leader for a 24/7 manufacturing facility within a global plastics organization.

The Director of Operations has full responsibility for plant performance across manufacturing, production, maintenance, warehousing, tooling, safety, facilities, and quality. This role owns site-level strategy and execution, partnering directly with the COO while leading a 100+ employee operation.

This is a broad, high-accountability leadership position with full P&L responsibility and long-term capacity planning ownership.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, warehousing, tooling, quality, safety, and facilities
• Drive manufacturing performance aligned with quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Own P&L results for the site
• Oversee capital planning, equipment investment, and inventory strategy
• Establish short- and long-term operational goals including capacity planning and site optimization
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and HR
• Build and develop the manufacturing leadership team
• Strengthen operational discipline, reliability, and continuous improvement efforts

BACKGROUND THEY’RE TARGETING

• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
• Prior plant management experience in a 70+ employee manufacturing environment
• Experienced with P&L ownership
• Injection Molding experience highly preferred
• Lean manufacturing or TPM exposure preferred
