Job Description

Director of Operations

As a leader in the restaurant, Director of Operations will be responsible for leadership of front counter, drive-thru, catering, and/or food production operations. They start by ensuring that all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service. This should include a pleasant greeting, accurately taking of orders, delivering the food in a timely manner, and sending the guest away with a warm salutation. Directors should ensure that the store as a whole is ready to serve the next guest by ensuring that the store is clean, stocked, and organized. They should check for uniform deficiencies and smiling faces on all team members who could possibly come into contact with a guest. Directors be in constant contact with the leadership team and Operator as to what is happening in their scope of responsibility at that time and is responsible for the overall flow of the restaurant. They will be tasked with ensuring we are meeting the requirements necessary to create remarkable experiences. Directors will be expected set the standard for signature service and therefore must lead by example. To do this, Directors need to actively show a passion for service and for the Chick-fil-a brand. A cheerful attitude accompanied with a desire to get things done makes a great example for all members of your team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Specific Experience :

· Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

· Required: Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Required: Experience as a leader in the customer service industry

Other Characteristics :

· Excellent customer service

· Strong communication/written/verbal skills

· Strong interpersonal skills: gets along well with others

· Able to lift 40 - 60 pounds on a consist basis

· Ability to prioritize

· Organizational skills

· Close attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task

· Detail orientated

· Able to work well independently and in a team environment

· Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship

· Self-starter who completes tasks without excessive supervision

Preferred qualifications :

· Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in a business or marketing field of study

· This is a full time position.

· This person must be skilled in time management.

· This person must be self-directed and highly organized.

· This person must have basic computer skills.

· This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Restaurant including management and office work.
