Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, OK is seeking a Director of Nursing!

The Director of Nursing (DON) manages the services provided by the nursing personnel of a healthcare facility. Duties include, overseeing the nursing personnel and patient care, as well as administrative tasks such as record keeping and budgeting.

Our team is dedicated to finding an exceptional nurse who is committed to providing 'Only the Best' care for our beloved residents. Experience in an administrative or management role is a plus, but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervising all nursing staff
• Overseeing department budgets
• Reporting to higher management
• Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
• Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
• Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
• Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
• Providing ongoing education classes
• Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Current Active State RN License
• Knowledge of relevant nursing care
• Friendly and professional bedside manner
• Maintains current CPR certification
• Multi-tasking skills
• Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
• Understands legal implications of patient care
