As the Director of Nursing for Long-Term Care, you will help oversee and support the daily clinical operations of the nursing home while leading, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff.
This role plays a vital part in helping ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
You will work closely with leadership, providers, staff, residents, and families to help strengthen care delivery, teamwork, communication, and long-term stability within the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and organizing nursing home operations to ensure quality patient care
Supervising, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff
Maintaining communication between healthcare teams
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and nursing standards
Recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff
Supporting budgeting and operational oversight
Implementing quality improvement initiatives
Addressing resident, family, or patient care concerns
Helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and employees
Staying current with healthcare trends, nursing practices, and regulatory updates
Collaborating with providers, residents, and families regarding individualized care plans
We are looking for someone who:
