Twelve Oaks Recovery Center is a nationally recognized residential treatment facility for adults facing substance use challenges and co‑occurring mental health conditions. About Twelve Oaks Recovery Center

Twelve Oaks offers medically supervised detoxification and residential treatment for adults 18+, specializing in substance use challenges and dual‑diagnosis care. Our treatment approach integrates medical oversight, evidence‑based clinical therapies, and holistic programming to address the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of recovery.

Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, licensed clinicians, therapists, and support staff, all working collaboratively to provide individualized, trauma‑informed treatment in a serene, healing environment.

Your Impact as Director of Nursing

As Director of Nursing, you will lead nursing operations across detox and residential levels of care, ensuring safe, compliant, and patient‑centered clinical services. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive culture, supporting staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for all nursing operations
  • Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Support individualized treatment planning and continuity of care
  • Collaborate closely with medical, clinical, and behavioral health leadership
  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
  • Active RN license in the state of Florida required
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience required (6+ years preferred)
  • Behavioral health nursing experience:
  • 1 year required (residential, inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, addiction recovery, or related settings)2+ years preferred
  • Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience required
