Work where every moment matters.
Every day, more than 40,000 Hartford HealthCare colleagues come to work with one thing in common: Pride in what we do, knowing every moment matters here. We invite you to become part of Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network.
Since our founding by the Daughters of Charity in 1903, St. Vincent’s has been dedicated to helping patients in Bridgeport and throughout Fairfield County. St. Vincent’s Medical Center, with more than 3,200 associates, is a 473-bed community teaching hospital including a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group and St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services. St. Vincent's Medical Center is committed to exceptional health care for all with special attention to persons living in poverty and those who are most vulnerable. It is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system’s second largest hospital.
The Director of Nursing, Behavioral Health will be responsible for the oversight of the inpatient behavioral health units and service line in the Fairfield region which includes the Westport Campus as well as the inpatient and behavioral health unit in the emergency department at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. The Director will collaborate with physician leaders, the management team and relevant clinical and administrative leaders to plan comprehensive programs and ensure that the highest level of quality patient centered care is delivered.
