Oversee overall operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Maintain high-quality nursing and clinical standards; ensure best practices in resident care
Promote residents’ wellbeing through social engagement and person-centered activities
Manage admissions, discharges, and bed occupancy efficiently
Foster open communication and strong relationships with residents’ families
Lead, mentor, and support nursing and care staff; oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
Manage budgets, resources, and administrative operations effectively
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors
Registered General Nurse on the NMBI Register
Minimum 3 years’ experience in nursing older persons within the previous 6 years
Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a health or social care setting
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
Fluent in English
Able to obtain Garda clearance and provide satisfactory references
EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland
Postgraduate qualification, or willingness to undertake a qualification, in Nursing Management, Gerontology, Healthcare Leadership or Healthcare Management
Post-registration qualification in Dementia Care or Gerontology
