The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the daily nursing and clinical operations within the hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this position provides operational leadership for nursing services by ensuring appropriate staffing, efficient patient flow, regulatory compliance, and the consistent execution of nursing practice standards.
The Director of Nursing works closely with house supervisors, physicians, department leaders, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of patient care services while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
Qualifications: Current RN Nursing License required. Must have Emergency Room experience. Must exhibit excellent customer service and communication.

Shoshone Medical Center is a 25-bed, acute care hospital in Kellogg, Idaho providing critical access healthcare to the entire Silver Valley region. SMC offers many inpatient and outpatient services. SMC employs over 100 people and contributes significantly to the region’s economy.
