Position: Director of Nursing

Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq

Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nursing, with excellent leadership and management skills.As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans and policies to improve the overall quality of nursing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing regular feedback and support for their professional development
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective and efficient patient care
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff
• Manage the department budget and resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure a culture of continuous improvement within the nursing department

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Strong knowledge of local and international nursing standards and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven experience in managing a large team of nursing staff
• Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions
