About the Role

• Driving prospects and turning them into digital direct customers or O2O leads, via owned channels or digital partnerships
• Partner with BUs to develop plans to achieve the BU customer acquisition targets, drive year-on-year growth and build a strong foundation for sustainable long-term rapid growth
• Drive the rapid development of DPP with key regional digital distribution partners, increasing penetration and driving sales growth
• Facilitate business success and growth by providing critical support and advice to BUs
• Facilitate and coordinate the deployment of Group Customer & Digital Marketing expertise to close gaps identified and support BU execution plans

  • Overall responsibility of partnering and co-building with local customer acquisition teams
  • From a Group perspective, champion digital customer acquisition initiatives and goals that have been committed for each market based on their strategic plans
  • Closely coordinate with Marketing leadership and other Group partners to bring in subject matter expertise and/or ensure the sharing of best practices across the region
  • Develop and execute plans, in collaboration with LBU’s, to grow value of new/existing partnerships by deepening relationships and penetration of their respective client bases
  • Provide support on the following activities:
    • Organize and lead monthly business review discussionswith BUs
  • Lead or provide direct support on regional or LBU sponsored projects, or engage other Group functions especially across Group Marketing to provide necessary resources
  • Assist in deal negotiations and development of new business opportunities in their assigned countries
  • Work with the local teams on their annual strategic planning exercise
  • Working closely with AIA management and key partners in the assigned countries to achieve their targets, year on year growth and building a strong foundation for long term sustainable rapid growth
  • Contribute to the development of the overall customer acquisition strategy and planning at Group
  • Develop and set standards for Customer Acquisition, aligning with organizational strategic goals and ensuring the robust plans at BU level to close the gaps
  • Develop strategies that will enable the effective acquisition of new customers via our owned and paid media channels, including optimisation of cost against performance, and digital proposition development, lead generation and conversion via existing distribution channels, partnering with and tapping into expertise within GCDM chapters
  • Oversee the planning process for GCDM including development of presentation materials and reports required for key forums and meetings such as annual strategy review, investor meetings, monthly marketing steering committee, and others as required.
