Sacred Heart, Columbia, MO, a Parish of 800 families, including Hispanic ministry, seeks a full time Director of Music and Liturgy.
Duties include working with and scheduling choirs, cantors, and musicians; planning music, liturgical varia, and administration.
Must be an active Catholic. Bachelor’s degree (in music preferred) or equivalent relevant education and experience. Experience working in a church and/or directing a choir. Functional keyboard skills necessary, appropriate for a choral conductor. Ability to accompany an ensemble on piano and organ preferred. Spanish preferred, but not required.
