
The Director of Marketing Operations and Digital Experience is part of the Sales and Business Services department, which resides on the Strategic Marketing team and reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. As our Director of Marketing Operations and Digital Experience, you will be a senior leader responsible for marketing operations, analytics, digital experience, marketing technology, and operational execution. This role provides leadership for the Marketing Operations and Analytics, Digital Experience, and Digital Media functions and is accountable for ensuring marketing initiatives are strategically planned, measured, operationally sound, and aligned to business outcomes.
The Director partners across Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Member Success, Revenue Operations, and Technology teams to establish priorities, drive execution, improve conversion performance, maintain reporting integrity, and optimize the customer journey. This position serves as the operational leader for the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring marketing investments, digital experiences, analytics, systems, and processes support organizational growth, customer engagement, and strategic objectives.
What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team across Marketing Operations and Analytics, Digital Experience, and Digital Media
Establish clear goals, priorities, ownership, and accountability across team functions
Ensure team roles, responsibilities, operating procedures, and success metrics are clearly defined and documented
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus
Support team members growth through coaching and development planning
Lead the Marketing Operations and Analytics function, ensuring effective campaign execution, lead management, reporting, attribution, and performance measurement
Establish operational governance, planning processes, and accountability measures across marketing initiatives to ensure they are executed on schedule and aligned with organizational goals
Lead Agile marketing practices, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, capacity and resource management, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
Drive quarterly planning, prioritization, and resource allocation aligned to business objectives while proactively managing risks and dependencies through mitigation plans
Own marketing reporting, attribution, performance measurement, and reporting governance
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of marketing and digital performance data
Lead the development and maintenance of executive dashboards and performance reporting
Translate marketing and customer data into actionable business insights and recommendations
Monitor performance trends and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and optimization strategies that improve marketing and business performance
Establish reporting standards that support informed, data-driven decision-making
Lead website strategy, optimization, and digital experience initiatives focused on conversion, engagement, and customer experience
Establish measurement frameworks for customer journeys and digital interactions
Drive continuous improvement in lead generation, conversion, customer acquisition, and engagement performance
Partner with Product Marketing, Communications, Sales, and Member Success teams to improve customer outcomes across the funnel
Oversee SEO, website analytics, marketing automation, and digital performance optimization
Provide strategic direction for digital media programs, including video, podcast, and multimedia content
Serve as business owner for marketing technology platforms, including Salesforce, Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), analytics tools, and related integrations
Ensure systems, processes, and data support business objectives, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Partner with Technology, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Privacy stakeholders to ensure appropriate governance, compliance, and data integrity
Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools and processes that improve scalability, automation, reporting, and business outcomes
Maintain oversight of marketing technology investments and platform performance
Serve as a strategic partner to Product Marketing, Communications, Sales, Member Success, Product, and Operations teams
Facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues and remove barriers to execution
Represent Marketing in enterprise initiatives, operational planning, and business reviews
Build strong partnerships across the organization to improve business performance and customer outcomes

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field*
8+ years of progressive marketing experience
5+ years of experience leading and developing marketing teams
Demonstrated experience leading marketing operations, digital marketing, analytics, and reporting functions
Experience managing Agile or Agile-inspired marketing teams and workflows
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), marketing automation, analytics, and reporting platforms
Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and performance reporting
Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business units
Must be authorized to work in the United States
It's a Plus if You Have:
Cybersecurity, technology, SaaS, or related B2B industry experience
Experience managing website strategy and digital experience programs
Experience with conversion rate optimization and customer journey analysis
Experience managing marketing technology integrations and reporting architecture (Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Matomo)
Familiarity with privacy, consent management, and marketing compliance requirements (Cookiebot)
Experience scaling marketing operations and analytics capabilities within a growth-focused organization
