Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs, France.
The Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs will shape and lead Brink’s strategic marketing, internal and external communications and public affairs agenda in France. Working in partnership with the France Executive Committee and a key member of the leadership team, this role will strengthen brand visibility, enhance stakeholder engagement and support the delivery of the company’s strategic priorities.
This leader will also play a critical role in supporting growth, business transformation and market differentiation by developing effective go-to-market strategies for Brink’s products and services in France.
The role carries full accountability for the function’s performance, including regular reporting of key performance indicators to the Brink’s France Executive Committee and the recommendation of actions to drive continuous improvement.

- Reporting line: France CEO. This role is a pivotal member in the France Executive Committee
- Key stakeholders: General Management and the Brink’s France Executive Committee, Sales Leaders, Product Leaders
- Team leadership: Communications, Public Affairs and Marketing teams
Key Responsibilities
Communications
- Review and enhance Brink’s internal and external communications strategy in France.
- Develop and lead a multi-year external communications roadmap.
- Help define and bring Brink’s purpose to life across France.
- Drive employee engagement by celebrating team and individual achievements.
- Promote a strong employee experience in partnership with HR.
Public Affairs
- Define and lead Brink’s public affairs, lobbying and influence strategy in France.
- Monitor political, regulatory and societal developments relevant to the business.
- Assess the impact of proposed legislation and regulatory change.
- Prepare briefing materials, recommendations and strategic positioning papers.
- Lead advocacy initiatives and stakeholder influence campaigns.
- Coordinate institutional messaging, speaking opportunities and external representation.
- Anticipate legislative developments that could affect Brink’s strategic position.
- Build and maintain a strong network of public and institutional stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation with public authorities and key external bodies.
Marketing Strategy & Business Development
- Optimise and measure the impact of marketing initiatives on pipeline growth in SalesForce, including leads, opportunities and pipeline development.
- Define and deliver the France marketing strategy in alignment with Group priorities.
- Shape market segmentation, prioritise target sectors and define compelling value propositions across ATM, Cash Management, Cash & Tech and innovative services.
- Enable the salesforce with effective go-to-market plans, tools and differentiated content.
External Communications & Brand Visibility
- Deliver a consistent multi-channel communications approach spanning media relations, content, events, social media and B2B influence.
- Increase the visibility of Brink’s offers with national key accounts and regional decision-makers.
- Support diversification into banking clients and help prepare future growth opportunities, including alternative deposit networks and innovative projects.
Digital Strategy & New Acquisition Channels
- Champion opportunities linked to technological developments, including automation, AI and emerging digital behaviours.
- Lead the evolution of the website and broader digital strategy.
- Accelerate lead generation and support the full sales journey.
- Mobilise teams and contribute to embedding Brink’s purpose through digital engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience (10+ years) in marketing, communications and public affairs, ideally within a complex B2B environment or B2C ideally within banking, financial services, fintech, payment solutions or retail.
- Strong commercial mindset with confidence in digital and data-driven decision-making.
- Deep understanding of social media, reputation-building and influence channels.
- Excellent judgement, clarity of thought and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly accomplished presenter, with the executive presence and credibility to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and represent Brink’s France with authority in senior forums.
- Strong strategic capability, proven leadership and a track record of delivering results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience working across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in matrixed and international environments.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
