Job Description

A nonprofit organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to build and lead a strong marketing division. This role begins remotely with the expectation of relocating to Michigan once the department is fully established. The Director will play a key role in shaping the organization’s brand, driving engagement, and scaling a high-performing team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy
• Build and manage a team of copywriters, designers, and other creatives
• Oversee branding initiatives and ensure consistency across all channels
• Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to align messaging with organizational goals
• Drive engagement and awareness through digital, print, and community-based campaigns
• Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to ensure effectiveness

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience in marketing leadership, ideally within nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
• Strong knowledge of branding, communications, and digital marketing
• Track record of building and scaling successful teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Willingness to relocate to Michigan after the initial remote phase

Salary: $90k - $130k/Year
