Lead Maintenance Operations with Purpose

Southfield Village is hiring a Director of Maintenance for Southfield Village. We’re looking for a dependable leader who takes pride in maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for spaces for residents and staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise maintenance, grounds, and laundry operations
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and daily repair needs
  • Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and building maintenance
  • Coordinate landscaping, snow removal, and grounds care
  • Maintain inventory, budgets, and maintenance documentation
  • Partner with vendors and contractors when needed
  • Lead a strong, service-focused maintenance team

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and repair skills
  • Experience with maintenance equipment and building systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Occasionally a management partnership may be formed with a local for-profit owner.

Approximately 2,000 people live in Greencroft-related communities, served by 1,100 team members, in northern Indiana, north-central Ohio and central Michigan. People from at least 20 faith traditions make up the resident populations.
