Director of LLM Large Language Model Algorithm

A prominent consumer electronics brand is seeking a highly skilled Director of Large Model Algorithms to lead their algorithm team based in Shenzhen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical roadmap and driving innovation in AI technologies within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the algorithm team, guiding the development and iteration of algorithms.
• Oversee research and analysis for AI modules in NAS projects, focusing on innovative applications of AI technology in smart storage scenarios.
• Lead the development of AI algorithm architectures and models, establishing an algorithm platform and conducting relevant technical research.
• Stay abreast of AI technology trends, quickly analyzing new developments and guiding the team in applying cutting-edge technology to business scenarios.
• Focus on practical deployment of large models, including fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and heterogeneous computing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with product strategies and drive differentiation and innovation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI, with at least 1 year in a leadership role managing technical teams.
• Strong innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new AI technologies and applications.
• Up-to-date with developments in the AI field through academic conferences, research papers, and online courses.
• Background in large language models, multimodal models, and generative models.
• Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, with practical experience in mainstream inference engines.
• Extensive software development experience, with expertise in programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Familiarity with model deployment, quantization, pruning, distillation, and optimization techniques.
• Strong team management and collaboration skills, with excellent problem analysis and resolution capabilities.
• Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NPU and GPU architectures, with experience in resource optimization.
• Understanding of trends in AI algorithms and chip design, providing future-oriented guidance for AI algorithm chip customization.
• Familiarity with heterogeneous computing acceleration technologies for edge deployment in AI applications.
• Ability to evaluate hardware platform options and provide technical support for strategic hardware planning.
• Experience in commercializing AI applications and a strong understanding of product insights.
