Job Description

Location: United States

Category: Clinical Education

Req ID: 43844

Overview

The Director / Associate Director of Learning Strategy and Analytics serves as a critical connector between program strategy, course-level execution, and academic data. This role leads the development of learning strategy, curriculum planning, and analytics capabilities that enable EIM and its University Partners to make more informed decisions about program design, curriculum effectiveness, learner progression, and continuous improvement.

The role is responsible for translating program-level goals, competencies, accreditation expectations, and learner outcomes into actionable curriculum structures and course-level guidance. It also provides strategic ownership of the systems, applications, and data frameworks that support curriculum planning and insight, including platforms such as Enflux and other curriculum mapping, assessment, and learning-analytics tools.

Working closely with Academic Disciplines, Learning Design & Technology, Accreditation & Assessment, and University Partner leadership, this role helps ensure that curriculum decisions are informed by evidence, aligned across the learner journey, and supported by scalable processes and technology. Through curriculum strategy, product ownership, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration, the role strengthens EIM’s ability to connect program intent with course design, implementation, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

Learning Strategy & Program Alignment

  • Lead approaches for translating program vision, competencies, accreditation requirements, and program-level outcomes into coherent curriculum structures and course-level guidance.
  • Support curriculum architecture, sequencing, mapping, and alignment across courses and programs.
  • Partner with Academic Disciplines and Learning Design teams to identify curriculum gaps, redundancies, dependencies, and opportunities for improved integration.
  • Develop frameworks and tools that support new program development, curriculum redesign, and ongoing program improvement.
  • Ensure curriculum planning reflects learner progression, assessment strategy, instructional priorities, and program outcomes.

Learning Analytics & Academic Insight

  • Develop and lead a learning-intelligence approach that integrates curriculum, assessment, course, learner, and program-level data to support academic decision-making.
  • Identify priority data and insights needed by Program Directors, faculty, Academic leaders, and University Partners.
  • Translate complex academic and learning data into actionable insights, recommendations, dashboards, and decision-support resources.
  • Partner with Accreditation & Assessment and other stakeholders to connect curriculum information with student achievement, assessment performance, licensure outcomes, retention, and other indicators of program effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for earlier detection of curriculum, implementation, or learner-performance risks.

Curriculum Technology & Product Management

  • Provide strategic product ownership for applications and technologies that support curriculum planning, mapping, assessment, and learning analytics, including platforms such as Enflux.
  • Define user needs, workflows, requirements, priorities, and adoption strategies for curriculum and learning-intelligence applications.
  • Partner with Educational Technology, vendors, and internal stakeholders to evaluate, configure, implement, and continuously improve enabling technologies.
  • Ensure tools are designed and implemented to support academic workflows rather than create additional administrative burden.
  • Establish standards and governance for curriculum data, system use, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.

Curriculum Assets & Scalability

  • Identify opportunities to translate curriculum insights into reusable academic resources, learning assets, frameworks, and scalable solutions.
  • Support decisions regarding where common curriculum needs can be addressed through shared resources versus where program- or partner-specific differentiation is required.
  • Partner with Learning Design & Technology and Academic teams to inform development and prioritization of curriculum assets.
  • Use utilization, curriculum, assessment, and performance data to inform investment decisions and continuous improvement.

University Partner & Academic Collaboration

  • Partner with Program Directors, faculty, and University Partner leadership to support curriculum planning, evaluation, redesign, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate curriculum strategy discussions and translate complex academic needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a senior resource for curriculum alignment, program-level design, mapping, and learning-intelligence questions.
  • Support partner-facing discussions that require integration of academic strategy, curriculum data, assessment findings, and instructional design considerations.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with Academic Disciplines, Learning Design & Technology, Accreditation & Assessment, Educational Technology, Operations, and other teams to connect program strategy to execution.
  • Establish scalable processes, standards, and governance for curriculum planning and learning analytics across the Academic organization.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline curriculum workflows, improve data quality, and increase visibility into program performance.
  • Contribute to organizational planning related to new programs, partner onboarding, academic products and services, and curriculum innovation.
  • Promote a culture of evidence-based academic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, instructional design, learning sciences, higher education, educational assessment, educational technology, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in curriculum strategy, academic program design, curriculum mapping, learning analytics, assessment, instructional design, or related work.
  • Demonstrated experience translating program-level goals and outcomes into curriculum structures, course-level guidance, or academic improvement strategies.
  • Experience working with curriculum mapping, assessment, learning analytics, or related academic technology platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable academic insights and recommendations.
  • Strong consultative, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in graduate, professional, or healthcare education.
  • Experience working with accreditation standards, competency-based education, or licensure-oriented programs.
  • Experience with curriculum mapping or learning-intelligence platforms such as Enflux or comparable systems.
