UMass Memorial Health is seeking a transplant nephrologist to serve as Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. Following several years of significant expansion in transplant volume, clinical complexity, and institutional investment, the program is entering its next phase—focused on consolidating momentum while advancing innovative priorities in living donor transplantation, clinical trials, and translational research. This role offers a rare opportunity to lead and shape an evolving academic transplant program, with strong mentorship, protected leadership time, and the resources to build durable impact across clinical care, research, and education.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology
  • Certification as a transplant nephrologist
  • Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
