About the Company

Our client is a healthcare-focused consulting and technology organization that partners with hospitals, health systems, and provider organizations to improve how healthcare is delivered. Their work sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, technology, innovation, and human-centered design.

Rather than simply implementing technology, they help healthcare organizations solve complex operational challenges, improve caregiver and patient experiences, streamline workflows, accelerate adoption of new tools, and drive meaningful organizational transformation. Their teams work directly with executive leaders to rethink processes, design better experiences, and create sustainable change across healthcare environments.

About the Opportunity

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for advancing innovation, experience strategy, service design, and adoption initiatives across healthcare organizations. You will work alongside senior consulting leaders and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, uncover unmet needs, and drive transformational outcomes that impact both organizational performance and patient care.

The Director of Innovation & Adoption will lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, strategists, and facilitators while helping healthcare providers navigate complex business, operational, and technology challenges.

  • Identify opportunities to improve healthcare workflows, technology adoption, operational efficiency, and user experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives and leadership teams.
  • Develop frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that strengthen innovation and design capabilities.
  • Mentor and coach team members while helping scale a growing consulting practice.
  • Support business development, proposal creation, solution design, and account growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of management consulting experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience supporting healthcare provider organizations.
  • Direct healthcare industry experience is required.

  • Experience leading digital transformation, innovation, service design, experience strategy, product strategy, or organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately two weeks per month.

Healthcare Experience Required

This role requires candidates who understand the healthcare industry.
