MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director of Information Technology to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reports Directly to the TDL Manager, who will be manager of managers.

  • Manages a team of ManTech and sub-contractor support personnel supporting NETTN information technology operations.

  • Coordinate with RS20E, Enterprise Services Manager & RS20T Operations Manager and TDL Manager for Team daily/weekly and long-range work assignments and support requirements.

  • Responsible for overall information technology, network operations and service delivery.

  • Establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the operation and maintenance of information technology assets.

  • Develops and implements network operations program. Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support information technology and network infrastructure.

  • Enforce work standards, assign applicable contractor schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises contractor personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.

  • Support a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices.

  • Support the TDL Manager in providing overall excellent contract performance to the client as outlined by CPAR.

  • Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.

  • Collect, review, and analyze information to make recommendations to the Government.

  • Report findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common.

  • Track deliverables to provide required improvements and to correct service deficiencies, improve support and produce cost savings where possible.

  • Work closely with NSWC Corona RS management team and NETTN team in an integrated product team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years experience can be substituted for a degree).

  • Twelve (12) Years of information technology experience

  • Five (5) Years of managerial experience with DoD efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.

  • Experience with ManTech management and financial systems.

  • Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements

  • 10% travel anticipated.

  • Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions.

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.
