TrustPoint located in Murfreesboro, TN is the leading Inpatient psychiatric and physical rehab hospital in the area. TrustPoint is a state-of-the-art hospital that provides rehabilitation services, medical psychiatry, and inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Responsible for the effective management of a clean and sanitary environment in the facility. Maintain safe, functional and supportive environment for patients, staff and visitors to the facility.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Develop a cleaning schedule and provide adequate staff coverage.

· Responsible for safety, security, maintenance, facilities, materials management and housekeeping.

· Effectively meet the operational needs of the departments under direct supervision.

· Operate within established fiscal guidelines, inspects and continually evaluates the physical condition of the facility building(s) and grounds.

· Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

· Coordinate, develop, and/or participate in facility wide departmental safety policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation or corporate standards, codes, laws or regulations to manage risks related to the physical environment of the facility.

· Establish standards of quality within departments under direct supervision and oversee the training to meet those standards.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or Associate's degree preferred.

· Four or more years’ experience in the field of environmental safety, plant operations or similar environment required.

· One or more years’ supervisory experience required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

· Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.

· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

· First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
