The Role

The Director of Transportation and Logistics will serve as a strategic partner to Supply Chain leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, driving the optimization of international and domestic transportation routes, managing logistics carriers, ensuring exceptional service levels and safety performance, overseeing the transportation management system, and controlling costs to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • 7-10 years procurement experience in transportation and logistics management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in managing international and domestic transportation networks, carrier relationships, and transportation management systems.
  • Strong understanding of cost analysis, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance in transportation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with TMS platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive strategic initiatives
  • Periodic travel may be required up to 15%
