
The Director of Operations plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day logistics and administrative functions of the athletic program, ensuring efficient operations and compliance within NCAA, Patriot League, and Lafayette College guidelines. This position supports the Head Coach and coaching staff by overseeing team travel, scheduling, budget management, and operational planning, while also coordinating alumni engagement, fundraising, and community outreach. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of the program, allowing coaches to focus on athletic and player development.
Oversee team travel logistics, including transportation, lodging, and meals.
Manage game scheduling, practice coordination, and facility reservations.
Assist in budget management, expense tracking, and team operations.
Serve as the liaison with compliance, academics, and athletic administration.
Coordinate film breakdown, scouting reports, and technology use for analysis.
Facilitate alumni engagement, fundraising initiatives, and community outreach.
Ensure NCAA and Patriot League compliance in operational functions.
Support sports medicine and strength staff in coordinating athlete wellness resources.
Assist with team communications, media relations, and marketing efforts.
Bachelor's Degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
Upon position acceptance, successful completion of PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

They must demonstrate a commitment to adhering to Lafayette College, Patriot League, and NCAA rules and regulations. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
