This leadership role is responsible for strengthening the foundation of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making across a global organization.
The position focuses on creating scalable FP&A processes, improving data transparency, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities.

Accountabilities:
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Process and Insights will own the design, optimization, and governance of FP&A processes while enabling scalable financial analytics and decision support. This role requires strong collaboration across business functions to improve financial visibility, standardization, and operational efficiency.
- Lead enterprise-wide FP&A process design and mapping across planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management cycles.
- Establish standardized frameworks that improve consistency, scalability, transparency, and traceability across financial operations.
- Drive process transformation initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, redesigning workflows, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Define business requirements that align FP&A processes with planning platforms, ERP systems, reporting tools, and data technologies.
- Enable advanced analytics, automation, predictive modeling, and AI-driven insights through structured financial data models.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to support leadership decision-making across regions and business units.
- Establish governance models focused on process integrity, data quality, automation, and operational maturity.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Data, and Technology teams to improve alignment between financial processes and enterprise systems.
- Support the evolution of financial planning capabilities through technology adoption and innovative analytical solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced finance transformation leader with a strong background in FP&A, analytics, process optimization, and technology enablement. This professional should be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, influencing senior stakeholders while delivering scalable solutions.
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, business analytics, finance transformation, or related financial leadership roles.
- Proven experience applying reporting, financial analysis, and process optimization methodologies within complex organizations.
- Strong expertise in finance technology enablement, automation initiatives, and digital transformation programs.
- Experience with tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, and advanced Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable planning processes, governance frameworks, reporting models, and insight capabilities.
- Experience integrating financial planning concepts across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, measuring process effectiveness, and improving operational maturity.
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience enabling AI-driven insights and advanced analytics through connected, reliable data structures.
- Leadership experience managing teams focused on process excellence, financial architecture, and insights delivery.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.

- United States: $160,000 – $210,000 USD
- Canada: $140,000 – $180,000 CAD
