Reporting directly to the CFO you will work as critical bridge between the CEO, PE Board Members and executive-level strategic decision-making.


The FP&A savant will oversee all areas of the company's Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategy Planning, and Operational Finance functions. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing value-added scalable FP&A processes. This role will also support our strategic initiatives by generating key insights into business performance. Job Duties

  • Lead and own the comprehensive annual operating plan, including the budgeting and forecasting process for the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Drive the monthly reporting deliverables for the Executive Management Team, Branch level Leadership, and Private Equity Owners.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day business partner to the management team and PE sponsors, providing data-driven insights to guide execution.
  • Supervise and mentor a Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, and an intern as you will be fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
  • Prepare high-impact board decks and executive-level presentation materials that highlight variance root causes and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across 100 branches, grading locations based on utilization, billable hours, and technician efficiency.
  • Support a highly acquisitive business environment by integrating financial data from newly acquired entities into the master reporting structure.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models in Alteryx, Excel, Tableau for scenario analysis and long-term strategic planning.
  • M&A Integration as you will be integrating data and financial reporting for acquired businesses.
  • Lead the eventual transition from manual processes to an automated rolling forecast environment using tools like Domo, Vena, or Data Rails.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to explore and implement Agentic Models to further automate forecasting workflows.
  • Utilize Power Query and other complex formulas to synthesize complex data into visual dashboards for P&L owners and VP of Operations.
  • Coordinate the development of annual cost savings initiatives and non-financial performance metrics.
  • Provide insightful financial projections that inform regional expansion strategies and capital allocation.
  • Maintain a "hands-on" approach, staying in the weeds of the data when necessary while effectively communicating at the C-suite level.


Experiences Deemed a Plus

  • Progressive Financial Leadership: 8+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally within a high-growth or Private Equity-backed environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing dashboards within Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or Snowflake to drive operational visibility.
  • Ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and PE partners.
  • Experience transitioning a company from Excel-based planning to an automated tool (Adaptive, Planful, Domo, Vena, or Data Rails)
  • A forward-thinking interest in AI and Agentic models for finance department automation.
