Director of Financial Operations – Sales & Growth

Mister Sparky of South Texas | Full-Time

THE ROLE

Mister Sparky is looking for a Director of Financial Operations who understands both numbers and sales.

You’ll oversee financial operations, lead and monitor the accounting team, help the sales team close more business, and build a clear 1–3 year forecast for company growth.

This is more than an accounting role. We need a leader who can manage the numbers, improve sales, close deals, and help drive the business forward.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and monitor the accounting team and daily financial operations
• Review P&L, cash flow, job costs, margins, and financial reports
• Build and manage 1–3 year financial forecasts and growth plans
• Track budgets, spending, and company performance
• Help set pricing and improve job margins
• Broker financing and payment options for customers
• Help close larger jobs and improve sales results
• Train and coach team members on how to close
• Partner with leadership on hiring, fleet, expansion, and growth plans
• Monitor financial data between ServiceTitan and accounting systems
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3–5+ years of financial management experience
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
• Proven sales and closing skills
• Experience coaching or training sales teams
• Strong Excel skills; SAGE Intacct and/or QuickBooks preferred
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to turn financial data into clear business decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
