Job Description

The Director of Finance, IT is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide IT financial strategy, planning, governance, and cost transparency across a centralized shared services operating model. This role ensures strong financial integrity in all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, project financials, and cash controls. The ideal candidate serves as a key strategic advisor to IT leadership and business units, enabling efficient, data driven technology investment decisions.

• Own the enterprise IT financial strategy and ensure alignment with corporate priorities and long-term value delivery.
• Lead IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management to drive financial accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
• Govern cost allocation and chargeback models that enable clarity, fairness, and strong business partner relationships.
• Oversee financial governance of the IT project portfolio, ensuring sound investment decisions and disciplined execution.
• Manage IT rates, labor governance, and cash controls to uphold financial integrity and compliance.
• Provide strategic oversight for vendor financials and decisions, optimizing contracts and total value.
• Serve as the primary financial partner for IT and enterprise finance, driving alignment and strategic insight.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management across all IT financial operations.
• Build and lead a high performing IT finance capability, fostering clarity, communication, and cross enterprise influence.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA required
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in enterprise, shared services, or technology organizations
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX/OPEX, cost allocation, and project financials
• Experience with cost transparency, service costing, or technology financial frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership with strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
• High proficiency with financial systems, analytics tools, and modeling
